By using, browsing website or ordering from The Hampstead Bakery, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of use which, combined with the copy on this site, govern The Hampstead Bakery relationship with you.
The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by The Hampstead Bakery and while we endeavor to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, The Hampstead Bakery takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

All our items are custom baked for each order so lead times will be confirmed when you place your order as they will vary by product. Usually orders can take up to 5 days to prepare and perhaps longer at busy times of the year. Some items are available for next day shipment and you will be notified about this when getting in touch with us.
Payment
All orders must be paid for in full at the time of placing the order. Production of your items will not commence prior to payment and this may delay delivery of your goods.
Payment details will be provided at the time of agreeing your order with us.
Orders, Cancellation & Refunds
Once placed, refunds or cancellation of orders will only be considered if the order is at least 3 working days prior to the booked delivery or personal collection date.
We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for any orders once shipped as they are all expressly created to order and to your requirements unless damaged upon receipt. (See Shipping & Damage in Transit).
Delivery & Addresses
Our orders are shipped on a next day service to ensure they reach you in perfect condition, however you are responsible for supplying accurate and up-to-date delivery details including full postal codes and telephone numbers for the recipient. You also need to ensure someone is available to sign for the order when it is delivered.If any delivery fails, has to be re-arranged or is returned due to inaccurate, incomplete or out of date delivery addresses then any subsequent delivery and re-routing will be charged to the customer, if any perishable goods are spoiled and unsuitable for consumption then the whole order will have to be re-made and a further payment made to cover the costs of the re-order.
Our couriers deliver between 8":00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. If you are out when the courier tries to deliver your order, they will try and make contact on the number provided to see if they can leave with neighbour alternatively they will leave a card and try to re-deliver the following day. If there is nobody available on the second delivery the item will be held at their depot for 48 hours and then returned to us.
If items are left with a neighbour, we nor our couriers will be responsible for any loss or damage to our products caused by the neighbour. Please note that if we have to redeliver the order again it will be at your own cost and you may be re-charged for your items if they have gone past their use by date.
Shipping & Damage In Transit
Whilst we do our best to ensure orders reach you in perfect condition, shipping is carried out by a third party who may mishandle your shipment. Upon receipt of your delivery from us, it is the customer's responsibility to inspect the outer packaging and note any damage on the delivery receipt given to you by the courier. If damage is noted, please open the package whilst the courier is still with you and ensure they note any damages you may find. Photographs of the damaged packaging should be taken before opening the order to further inspect the goods.
Should you find any of your ordered is damaged this should be reported to us immediately by email and photographic evidence must also be emailed to info@hampsteadbakery.com.
Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes by third parties, failure of a utility service or telecommunications or transport network, act of God, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, explosion, fire, flood, storm, earthquake, epidemic or other natural disaster or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a Contract we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you and our obligations under the relevant Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control.Where the Event Outside Our Control affects our delivery of Goods to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the Event Outside Our Control is over.
Allergy Information
Whilst we can cater for certain dietary requirements, our products are NOT gluten, dairy, egg or nut free.
Although we do not use peanuts or nuts in any of our hamper recipes, we cannot guarantee any products will be peanut or nut free.
Other allergy information is available upon request and details are included in each hamper so the recipient will be aware of what items contain.
Your Personal Data
Any information we collect about you or the recipients of your purchases will only be used for the fulfilment of our obligations to you. We will never pass any data onto any other party unless required to by Law.
